Summer HikeA Poem by TimA little humorOne Summer when we were teens And our younger brothers were tweens We decided not to bike But to go to the woods for a hike We hiked along the way When Ralph began to gripe He had to go to our dismay I said go behind the tree It is number two and I have nothing with to wipe Use some leaves don't complain to me So off he went to answer natur's call Behind the oak that was so tall He was soon back All in tack I used the leaves that were shiny To wipe my hiny I shook my head and tried to keep my cool That is poisin ivy you fool You call yourself a country boy Because for awhile you will have no joy You will be showing no class AS you walk around scratching your a*s
