One shotA Poem by Tyler James MathiesonRandom
Out before me I see a wide and long way
Glowing with a warmth if innumerable depth You and I could be happy someday But I am just too scared to step They journey wouldn't be easy But we would make it there together The thought of that first step makes me queasy An I may just be stuck here forever For the last time I watch the gate close A small part of me gives up and dies My mentality jumps to morose The bile in my throat starts to rise I had one shot to make this right Turning away I take one more glance I won't get any sleep tonight I know I missed my only chance © 2012 Tyler James MathiesonAuthor's Note
