DateA Poem by Tyler James MathiesonHow to ask out a girl, like a boss.
It's four in the morning and I couldn't sleep
So here I will sit and attempt to be deep The funny part is that this late at night To conjure up words it's just such a fight My mind is not as sharp as it usually is So if this sucks you'll have to excuse me there Miss. I wanted to write and say how I feel I care about you so let's make a deal If you join me for dinner I will pick up the check And if it goes well maybe my cheek you could peck And if all is well and we have had some fun And my strange quirks have not yet caused you to run Then maybe you would come and join me for drinks And I might finally overcome my crippling jinx We would have a great time as surely you know So I'll just sit back and pray "please don't say no" So I guess what I'm asking, it's easy to see Is ______ would you go out with me. © 2012 Tyler James MathiesonAuthor's Note
