Meet the queen and say "Your Highness"
Follow down the yellow brick road
The handsome prince was once a toad
Goldylocks escaped three bears
Alice went and followed the hare
Jack climbed up the beanstalk
Oh my, what a crock
In comparison my life pales
Where is my fairy tale
When will I meet the one
Who loves me and will not run
When do I get my adventure
Split the earth and go to its center
When will things go my way
Oh I want it this I pray
I want things to just be easy
Not lose the girl to a guy that's sleazy
I want to go and fight for honor
But I'm afraid that dreams a goner
All I can do is keep my stride
And not get caught in my pride
