Same Every Day

Same Every Day

A Story by yourhaircutman

The sun set on me today.

I threw the sheets off of me,

got up to face the world that

gives me a cold shoulder and

felt disconnected just like I

always do.

The sun beat down on my

uncovered arms.

The heat became unbearable

and set fire to my arms. It

quickly spread to my back.

I had been burned many times

before, but never to this

degree.

I'm nothing but ashes now.

The sun continues to rise and set

despite my non-existence.
