Once againA Poem by DinaMalicious words can destroy someone, But mostly they destroy the one who has said them.Once upon a time, this sarcasm of mine Was in jest, But now, so serious. Like a murderess, I kill him once again With my words. . Try then, as I may, to control the things I say It's no use. I'm not awake today. Like a zombie, I devour him once again With my words. My words, haphazard daggers through the air. Without aim, center, square. Always. In the center of his heart, my unfair words move in, And like a hunter, I have him trapped and in distress, once again With my words. Afterwards, regret attempts to claim stake here, no moist soil. Regret rejected before it hit the door Dry and brittle, my words ignite And like the underworld, I set his world ablaze once again With my words. .
