the eyes

so empty

looking at me

 

seeking answers

of questions

that no one can see

 

looking in places

in darkness

in faces of man

 

on the streets

we’re walking

without a plan

 

the eyes

they want

to know it all

 

give us no privacy

no shelter

and let the world fall

 

the men

that stare

and seek the answers

 

we abide 

they pretend

to be our masters

 

disallowed

to spread

our wings and fly

 

under the eye

we live

and finally we die

I think this poem is for the society...or for the youth. you know, they tend to be so careless that sometimes they didn't know what will be the consequences of their actions. A very good poem indeed. And I love the choice of words. :) Nice work, man. Keep it up. :)
