A Poem by plainme
"

Too many ideas, too much confusion, there's only one way out.

"

my mind, a room

filled with light bulbs

hanging

from the ceiling

pieces of string

hold them in place

some of them blue

some of them green

flashing on

flashing off

different shades

different waves

the light

is not constant

it flickers

on and off

on and off

fed up

with flash strikes

all around me

I pull the plug

cut the cord

break the case

and finally

I am free

This is a unique piece! The idea, the flow and the abrupt yet expected ending and foremost the title... I'm so glad to have read this :)

I get the impression in this that you struggle to cut ties that are simply there one minute and not the next, gone when you need them most and there when you need them the least.

Again thats what I getfrom it.

Nice work!
