Party

Party

A Poem by p.kuhl

a new breed of eccentric
drunk ducks huddled up
with
neon bills

dragging metal leashes
a confused mess
of
drool and cash
trails behind

privileged, distinct
smacked lips
and clenched jaws
from
speed and
candy
-all the same

same as last year
traffic jams
and a******s
people looking for excuses
