high heels gouge her eyes out
to save her from this misery she's writing lowercase letters to estranged lovers in stranger cities embracing her dying mother's tendency to pretend to think "pretty" of their unbeveled teenage faces most people have noses at least, though oddly they vanish from our old photos like vibrancy and current wrinkles her face haunts like waiting for a lobotomy, like tyrants and symbols and those electric nauseous city lights that drag you out on Friday nights © 2013 p.kuhlReviews
