The revolution will be shown in sports bars and pubs on 50 inch flat screens

With the sound turned down

There will be tweets from the streets, blackberry and apple, orange

In fact the full five a day

There will be commemorative flags and mugs and t shirts

The revolution will have its own copyright and commercial branding

The revolution will be repeated over the next fortnight and spin off shows

In documentary format will be quick to follow

Newspapers will be printed with special souvenir colour pull outs and a chance to win

An all expenses paid holiday for two

The revolution will be debated in parliament and televised in the afternoon on bbc 2 while everyone is working and the back benchers are sleeping

The revolution will be brought to you in high definition, 1080p and 3D

Thirty tons of popcorn is expected to be produced and 14 million cups of tea consumed

There will be facebook pages set up within minutes of airing with photos and likes in the thousands

There will be disparaging comments made by uneducated and mindless individuals

Flamming and trolling through the social network sites

While spamming and hacking will be forced into overdrive bringing major networks to server overload

As YouTube videos will be viral with the title ‘the revolution will not be totally televised’ as media manipulation and conspiracy theorists upload front line recordings on grainy 3 megapixel camera phones

While white collar extremists blame Allah and organise coaches with buy one get one free tickets become available, sold out in 4 seconds and on secondary sites for inflated prices within 5 seconds

The revolution will be a ticket only event, security will be extremely tight with a tour afterwards and a charity single.

The revolution will be pre recorded…make sure you don’t miss it

Excellent. An all-damning satire on the dangers of modern day society's over-exposure to media and public coverage. The significance of events becomes diluted, everything seems like a repeat and the masses become apathetic. It's pretty much already happening - all we need is the revolution. The thing is, I think the only reason it'll be called a revolution is because the media would have named it.
And don't forget The Revolution Truthers...

This is everything I would like to say on the subject and more. Really good.
(problem is, just like the next revolution, it won't change a thing...)
