It's a wonderful lifeA Poem by Poetic Justiceif you live it
Formatted my brain because the sentiment was dry Poked myself a thousand times in the third eye And the lost souls who deserved the credit They didn’t get it Didn’t understand the concept, totally inept Flagrantly damaging the process of communication A proclamation, while standing knee deep in damnation Praying for salvation to a wooden carving While your spiritual self is starving When He specifically said no idol Your virtue is suicidal We are pleading ignorance As long as there is cash advance Because all the while you’re living fast But not dying young Swearing it’s ok and long as it’s in your mothers tongue I was here first, doesn’t matter when I came White, black, black, white we’re all the same Really? You read that in a book on Political Correctness But you reject them none the less It’s a familiar crime, I know you, have you got the time? Backwards coming forward and you sidle up and say Blood is thicker than water anyway Chaos is becoming the norm I can see on the horizon, it’s a perfect storm I protest alone I am blessed, atone Cleaning the dirt off my brow I can see it all now Hold on, it’s gonna be a fast ride Grab your heart, it’s cold outside. © 2013 Poetic JusticeReviews
