The Book of Thaumaturgus (Viber's Punishment for Samaria's Betrayal)A Poem by Poetic Justicethis book is being created currently through a series of poems (synopsis to follow)
The rage bubbled to the surface Of his skin, grey and cold His heart gouged by her betrayal Burned is his own contempt As his nemesis caressed his offspring She, wilful like her mother With tail and scale and blackened hair Eyes the prize, forgetful of her past He turned on the only one she treasured As he held her throat, pulling her close He Pressed his forked tongue against her cheek Squeezing, squeezing, released her from the torment A single tear graced her face As she fell at his feet like rotten meat His curse he swore to manifest each passing Samhain And corrupt her body until the swell of regret Stained her skin and brought him his legacy © 2012 Poetic JusticeReviews
