The WallA Poem by Poetic Justicepride always comes before something?!?She walked upon the wall As her peers held their breaths She knew the dangers But her pride she wore like a shiny badge They held their hands to hide their eyes As she wobbled aloft their wispy heads She giggled but grimaced inside As her pretty slippers navigated the slippery edge A gust of wind was all it took To place her petticoats and all In delightful disarray Their laughter now echoed around her ears And though she smiled through bitter tears Her fall was more from grace than from any wall
