The Solitude

The Solitude

A Poem by Rc R. Vagilidad
"

When a prayer calls out for Stars to fall.

"

Once again

the night sky is so clear,

and the stripes

longed their scar

Beautifully written

and brushed

Reflect the corner

To canvass its border.

Touch me

warm delight

In it’s soulless longitude

beyond...

Speaking to the stars

for the calmness.

The solitude,

prayer of the Priestess

Before I close my eyes,

come my love

Let’s lay down

our worries

Along the canvass of

wasted blood

The hymns of the moon will vibe

And tell you

the story of Chariots’ Ride

As the Star falls

easily tonight

On this shattered

canvass,

You’ll wonder

with such idiosyncrasy

Where we lay down

in eternity.

As I retire alone once more

And I’ll pray for the night sky

to be clear once again....

In our alone-ness, we prove to be far stronger than our loneliness.
