Broken Requiem

Broken Requiem

A Poem by Rc R. Vagilidad
"

I texted this in my mobile phone when I drove back home...of course while listening to my new iPod. I thought gadgets could bring inspirations....unfortunately I thought of Death theme..*sigh..lol

"

The shade of cross
cloaked every afternoon on a lustered marble
is the prologue of each moonless night
and the Sun of my darkest days

No regrets...
No legacies proved
No time to waste
No more real journey done

I will leave my earthly being
I will let him play my dream
I will let him play my requiem
And haunt everyone
who cried their senseless tears
once

In stagnancy, I know my place better
I cry...
as tears ride my constant dream
paved on a roadless journey

My flesh turns gray everytime darkness summons my World,
I decay...
underneath life's battleground shatters
my rainless sky

Broke their tears as my stagnancy closes
six feet underneath

I know this place better...
for love showers each mourn,
which I longed for...

The artlessness of this cage wonders
my timeless void
From the place where everyone counts
each seconds of their life
with the forbidden clock in space

My journey never ends...
Then never unearth my broken requiem

I eulogized my path...
To where I know my place
any better than before..

My chapter closes.

I was listening to I Am Ghost's "Crossing the River Styx" while I read this, and it matched perfectly. The title captured my attention, and your words kept me interested.

A sad and longing tale - powerfully written with such philisophical and powerful words. Thank you for sharing. A wonderful undertaking. I wonder what you were listening to that provoked such a marvel.

This is awesome - this is great!
I like the philosophic and poetic style very much.
The rhythm here is perfectly tuned.

I will leave my earthly being
I will let him play my dream
I will let him play my requiem

Wonderful work!
