“Horses”

The horses are coming

From near and from far

The horses are coming

Back home from the war

The horses are coming

In dressage so fine

The horses are coming

With boxes of pine

Lippizans, cimarrons,

Brumbies and shires,

Percherons, clydesdales,

And mustangs so wild

The horses are coming

In line after line

The horses are coming

With boxes of pine

The horses are coming

From near and afar

The horses are coming

Back home from the war
