lost

lost

A Poem by E
"

there is an evoca. just wait.

"

where are you,

my muse?

my guardian

of light

so perfectly perched

waiting,

sleeping,

one eye open

to catch me before i fall

oh, muse!

i miss you. i need you. i long for you.

your presence was

an energy,

i cannot explain it

but your absence

is an abyss

and i feel as though

a large hole

has centered within me

slowly

sucking

all

life

from

....

within.

have you forgotten

me?

oh, muse,

my muse,

have i been left

for a soul

who will treat you better

who will miss you more often

and pet you

caress you

as you sit beside them?

i fear i have not been

so good to you.

while you,

sweet muse,

have saved me from

dark pits of despair

i sang only praise

in poetry and song

your work well done

to inspire who i am

but..

did i ever thank you?

my muse, my muse?

come back to me

and in,

all honesty,

i know who will be praised

come back to my shoulder

and i know that you will never want to leave again

did you know,

i moved?

perhaps my new bookshelves

are too daunting for

your dainty feet

if it would be for you

i would build a bed

and you could stay forever

oh muse.

my muse.

your muse is still there, she is you after all.
she's just resting, deep in a bliss that transforms her. a sleeping beauty type story, called alternative happyness. It's the boy in your bed, or better, its the decline of your all orifices emitting that smell in search of him. You've left the tips of your toes and are now living the dream. and much energy must go into enjoying that.

But if youre ready now for her back, its simply a matter of redirecting, waking that youthful searching genious smokin cigarettes,
& taking her forward in time.

She'll come if it looks fun. I can see your talent. I promise.
