A Cup

A Cup

A Poem by RaymondoftheWoods
"

8 line poem composed in 1970 at age of 18

"
"A Fool" they said of Albert
"A Fool" they said of Jason, Me
So said we of those authors
"Their lives should never be."

"A pistol?" I asked of Albert,
"A Cup," my pal replied
So sent we a Cup of Truth,
And then those authors died.
