Poem Riddle

Noong unang panahon.
Panahon pa ng Hapon
Bugtong bugtong ay nauso
Para hasain ang ulo
Upang maging mapag isip
at lalaking matalino .

Pero teka kung magaling ka
Mahuhulaan mo ba ito ?

Akoy bagay na matigas
Sa dulo ko ay may butas
Sarap ay matatamo mo
Tuwing pumapasok ako
Sa butas na madamo ..

This riddle was very cleverly laid out. It has the tendency to make the reader's mind wander off to a different dimension. However, my first possible guess to the answer was a " Cotton Swab ". It is made up of a hallow plastic tube with hole inside extending on both end. On one end is covered and wrapped with cotton and the other is used as handle. Its used to enter and clean the ear canal which is surrounded by minute hair along the outer entrance. However, it may be close enough but doesn't fit the description of " Madamo " and the description that gives relief or pleasure.

My second guess which could be the most probable answer was a " Nasal Spray " . This item is hard and fits the description of having a small or tiny hole at the end. This is used primarily by someone who has colds or suffering from nasal stuffiness or congestion. So its used and inserted in a body orifice that has lots of hair like the " Nose ". And once its inserted and squirted to the nasal passage or orifice and a good dose of medication has been delivered. The person should feel better and experience immediate relief.

I hope the word " Sarap " can be interchange, synonymous to or translated with the word " Relief or Relieved ". Like " Ginhawa " ay nalalasap ... Thanks for sharing Gabrielle. Very sharp and very clever !

Golf naiisip ko sa butas na madamo...o kaya ay ilong. Pero ang tanong ay kung ano yung matigas na may butas na syang pumapasok sa butas na madamo.
