defective

defective

A Poem by Pinky
"

to my friends drawing...

"

Here I am

Put away

I would run but I cant

I just sit and decay

I ‘m cracked

Look at my face

Long ago hope turned black

I am a disgrace

Limbs broken

Brittle hair

I was just a token

This is not just or fair

Fractional

Lacking an eye

Life’s diabolical

I can not even cry

I would run

I am numb

Meant only to enjoy

I’m a defective toy

First, I want to say that your friend has a very unique style of art. Very defining! This poem makes me want to fix her. So I guess that means that this poem pulls empathy out of the empathetic soul.

This is really good! I especially liked this part:

Fractional
Lacking an eye
Life's diabolical
I can not even cry

It's not many words, but it says a lot. And your drawings are wonderful. You have a gift.
