the fire in your soul has spread quickly to mine leaving us both so elegantly entwined we'd dance and play and listen to the words each other had to say with stars in our eyes, we raced to the finish line i and you and you and me the lines between us grew hazy before we knew it, the race was done and now what have we become? two strangers heartbeats dance away stained from the bittersweet wine of love now i go my way and you go yours and it's always cold when you close those doors
(i really like the first verse as it's more generic and finite, but this is my ending because i'm not)
but my heart remembers the sweet taste of yours
as we spent those nights growing young together
and i can't help but feel you remember it, too
that your dreams come to take you away
to the place that we once knew
in soft, in comfort, in lover's gaze
but you've built up your walls so high
that even you can't see the way down
and i miss you

ohh! *sighs*
how you described it so well. that feeling of ache and coldness that these cruel hearted people bring in our lives. and us, we still miss them. i relate to it love.
how easily people can move on and pretend so perfectly that what happened was past and nothing really happened to miss.
eloquent write. thanks.
love is the source of my being. it challenges me everyday to make decisions that will keep my love flowing within myself and out to others. i'm on a mission to figure out what role i play in this worl.. more..
