Stuck On A TrailA Poem by Dilan Gray4/04/11 - I was walking on a trail last night and got almost 2.75 miles out and it started raining. I thought of this poem on the walk back.I don't know what to do, or which way I should go. Should I run there, or walk really slow? I'm halfway down a trail unsure if I should turn back. I do not want my final decision to lack. On top of my indecision it has now started to rain. I'm caught in the middle and all I'm feeling is pain. I need to move in one direction or another. I need to finally choose, not just run for cover. Which way will bring me to my happy ending? I think this way will bring me the sun. Will my trek be dangerous? Will I skip and have fun? Does the direction even matter? Or can I go either way? All I know is I don't want to be cold and wet another day. So choose, back to the past or walk something new. I don't want to be stuck here, a change of weather is overdue. © 2011 Dilan GrayAuthor's Note
