A Poem by Dilan Gray
"

3/21/11 - I wrote this because of my first session today.

"
I know it's your job but thanks
for showing an interest in me.
It gives me a little hope,
helps me think of possibility.
Your kindness and questions
helped me to rethink.
I told you some secrets
and you didn't even blink.
I know it's your job
to try not to judge.
I like that you give me
just a little helping nudge.
The hour with you gave hope
for the happiness I seek.
Eager for our next session,
see you next week.

Even though this is short, as you point it, sometimes the shortest of poems can become the greatest. This is really touching and has that sort of motivational up-lift to people who are going through really hard times. You managed to capture a wonderful scenario of being able to show that, when one does seek help and want it, things can really turn around for the better. I really enjoyed reading this and thought it was written very well
