Our RelationshipA Poem by Dilan Gray3/01/11 - A Muse Poem
We talk in the morning.
We chat at night. She breaks up with me after a fight. Then she starts flirting with me again. Kissing my cheek every now and then. I ask her to dance, but she plays hard to get. She has done this ever since we met. She likes to leave me hanging, so I know she's in charge. It's why I rarely write anything too large. She demands we dance when I'm trying to sleep. Without her dance, it's just a faith leap. She plays with my head, as well as my word. How fickle she is, is just so absurd. I'm not always sure about our love affair. But to leave my dear, I wouldn't dare! And I'll tell you what, I just love her so, and I never want my muse to go. © 2022 Dilan GrayAuthor's Note
