I Wonder If You Hear Me

questioning life and Gods response to the pains

Many of nights I have wonder if the tears are in vain

tears cleanse the soul I am told, I wonder

when I am screaming in anguish due to the lifes unfairness

can you hear me?

I've dotted I's and crossed my T's yet I've come up empty

the physical, mental, and emotional abuse have left me

spining out of control, I wonder can you hear my voice.

The years are going by and I still have my doubts

so ashamed to admit that my faith is low.......

God  I've cried out for so long my voice is cracked and dry

I wonder can you hear me when I cry out,

darkness is falling and here I sit wondering

will my voice be heard before my voice stops forever
