Mothers Eyes

Wisdom of our mothers

the years have not been kind to your eyes
silent tears have been shed in the night
every tear has a name, they speak of so much pain.
my mothers eyes have been the light for many dark knights
unconditional love shines through them
my mothers eyes are fading now but the light they
gave still finds away to shine through.
the story that is untold is in her eyes
secrets only God knows are hidden in those eyes
my mothers eyes have given strength to the community
the light is fading from those eyes,  my mothers eyes
the feebleness saddens my heart but now I am begining
to see what was behind my mothers eyes.
