Sunflower

Sunflower

A Poem by Pink Butterfly

Glittered sunflower by the sun dust’s dew
The sea murmurs as I reach my hands to you
We gaze like stars gazing at the dawn
And touch like fire that burns the moon

Our fingers linger from tip to tip
Feeling all moisture and warmth of breath
My angel forgive me, I can’t love you more
For this is the extent that I can adore

Your face is painted with loveliness and innocence
Through the wild piercing mode of convergence
Looking closely to the depths of your eyes
I know my love, that you’re an angel in disguise

Let our love shine like the blaze of the sun
That swings the golden sunflower too fine
We will soar together and walk the aisle
Guided by God, we will journey the mile
