Death of an Oak

Death of an Oak

A Poem by pinkasylum

From ancient raven soil
one mighty oak beckoned
splendored purpose fulfilled

Her last ovation
her beloved spread
of celestial wings

Thought I'd reveiwed this already well never mind lol Love the raven soil and spread your wings metaphor gives so many depths to the piece from a simple poem about a tree to motherhood/ coming of age and the chance to broaden ones horizons becoming a new person with new outlooks. Beautiful how ever you read into it. Keep em' coming
