Introduction

I sat in class falling half asleep.

"Damn, this class is so freaking long!" i whispered to Zane.

He nodded in agreement then looked at his watch and chanted "4... 3... 2... 1..." and just as he said the last number the bell rang.

I swear to God Zane has some powers of time because he's amazing with this kind of stuff.

Zane has dark brown hair that sort of spikes out on its own. He has bright green eyes and he has been my only friend since my dad left and i started shutting people out.

I stepped out of the classroom and glared at my watch.

I have 10 miniutes to get to the other side of the school, grab my gym clothes change and get to gym.

I look back at Zane and realize that hes staring at me.

"Skipping again Kate?"

I sigh. "Am i really that predictable?"

"Naaaw," He reassured me. "I just know you to well."

I pushed my hair out of my face so he could see me smiling at him,

I step to the side and let Zane through the door.

He takes his place standing beside me and we start down the hall and out of the school doors.
