SmilesA Poem by pinhead07Time alone wears me down. Maybe I appear fine when I clown around. Don't help; people that frown. Everyday I have a breakdown. Desperately, the damn feelings I try to drown. I just plaster on a grin. Getting people down is a sin. A smile on my face no matter what. Hope they don't look at my wrist, see the cut. To show confidence, a little I strut. I look normal, somewhat. I burn from the inside. My brain is fried. My heart cries. This side I hide. I fear I might crack. My heart will go black.
