Drama Queen

Drama Queen

A Poem by J. Ellen Blake

I am such a drama queen
I do it every day
I stomp my feet, I yell and cry
To try and get my way

My mother said if I don’t stop
She’ll take away T.V.
But that just seems to sent me
Into a crying spree

Every time the teacher speaks
I have to make a face
She just stops and stares at me
Like I should feel disgraced

But I don’t want to stop it
Not even if I could
Cause I will win an Oscar
And live in Hollywood
