Dealing with Regret

Dealing with Regret

A Poem by Robert Erickson
"

Ever focus so much on the past you forget about the future?

"

Dealing with regret:

Allow yourself time to forget.

Begin to heal inside.

Let it out but don't deny.

Learn from past mistakes.

A gentle heart's not hard to break.

Begin to understand.

Turn it around in your command.

Own your second chance.

Let it be yours not circumstance.

Live the life you want.

Perceive the change that comes.

Heal a broken heart.

Feel the pain, take it apart.

Remove the hurt within.

Let love begin again.
