Don't Blame Your Daughter (Reprise)

Don't Blame Your Daughter (Reprise)

A Poem by solsystemtillnervsystem

Cut, cut, cut, I can’t cut the thread

I don’t have the mindset,

The willpower, the misfortune.

Let me believe I’ll be okay.

Give me the time I need.

Kiss my gravestone

and tell me you’re sorry for all the things you said

Last night, last week, last year

I’ve grown up sad.

You didn’t really notice, did you?
