ReturnA Poem by Picture of PoetryA broken love.Return to me, and set me free. Unlock these cage doors, set me loose, and let me be.
Return to my heart, and start the spark. Begin this roaring fire, shouting beautiful love, and freedom remarks.
Return to our home, where you left me alone. Open these broken windows, blocking out the world, and see the side of me that you have never known.
Return to my life, for I am your life. When you walked out the door, you killed me in cold blood, and stabbed me with a knife.
Return to me, and set me free. Unlock these cage doors, set me loose, and let me be. © 2008 Picture of PoetryAuthor's Note
