The Traveling NoteA Poem by Picture of PoetryA common traveling muscal note...The traveling note, oh, what a sight. It's big with colours, that shine so bright.
When it hears the musician get ready to play it turns out its colours and comes out to say:
"My friends, one and all, gather around. I've got something to say, that will make a huge sound. My feet are tappin', and my colours are glowin' I'm gonna start jumpin' so lets get goin' "
As the wind begins to rush, through the bare cold pipes, out comes the traveling note, shining in the lights.
It changes a lot, which is kind of a pest, from a quarter note, to a quarter rest.
As it changes its shape, it is moving around, sometimes messing up, and looking like a clown.
It's payed by all instruments, from flute to trombone, in every section possible, but never played alone.
It will travel to China, England and Spain, always with notes like itself, so friendships may be gained.
This traveling note is special, to anyone who plays, and it still keeps traveling, to this very day! © 2008 Picture of PoetryAuthor's Note
