Moon, forever

A poem written for the smile in the night sky...

Your tender kiss, upon my cheek;

you look the wrong of meek.

With your Cheshire Cat smile,

you sleep only for a while.

Your soft, yellow, glow
allows us to know,

that you will be cleaver

and be our moon forever.

You give us light

when it's dark outside.

You make my heart overflow

with all that you know.

Your face in the sky;

never to die.

Only to light the way,

the moon, forever you shall stay!

I love the personification of the moon. Making us feel in the beginning that you were talking to a lover. I imagery played well in my mind as I read this giving me a great image of staring up at the moon and admiring it. Great write!

I feel like you could learn the importance of every outside appearance, by either having fun indoors or outdoors. Nature loves you and you have a latent love for it. No matter what time of year, or what time of day, it can share equal beauty. I seen a woman shining in front of my eyes the first moment I wake up, then a dancing display in the comfort and darkness of my own room, black lighted and artistic. Your poetry could have an affect on people if they think what you are thinking.
