The Lily PondA Poem by Picture of PoetryIt's about a night by the nice pond.
The moon light, glistens on the pond in complete concentration only to be distracted by the strong sounds of the king bull frogs. The lilies glide across the pond. The sudden leap of the king throug the cool midnight air dramatically kills the silence. The wind whispers in my ear telling me about the lily pond. It tells me of the creatures who inhabit it, and the screts that lie with in the midsts of water. Slimy rocks edge off parts of the lake. Weeping Willows dip their long, leafy, vines into the water. I seek to find more in this lily pond as I sit and watch it carefully. © 2008 Picture of PoetryReviews
