My heartA Poem by Picture of PoetryOh, how my heart is barren. An emptyness, and hollow area sinks deeper and deeper with in me. Shall it ever rise from its depths of darkness and dismay? Shall I? Shall it ever glow and glisten in the light of "the one" ever again? Shall I? It has been stolen and snached from my weak and frail grasp. But the theif never returns it better than when they stole it! It is always returned broken and shattered into a million peices. It has almost given up on love as I have. This is my heart, where hope is the key, and the lock on the door. © 2008 Picture of PoetryReviews
