Where is the noble soul

which my body should contain

it is lost and far away

 

where are the brilliant thoughts

to light my troubled dark way

they are lost and far away

 

nothing can be here

my mind is dark and sealed shut

I am lost and far away

 

I have but one thought

but one goal to be achieved

it is lost and far away

 

but for now I search

and I will search for all time

Sometimes those inner thoughts can get lost for a time; I like how you describe it in this write. Other than some fine tuning to where periods and question marks go you’ve done a great job.
