Fade Away

I wrote this after my 5 month old Niece passed away

The sun began to fade when your eyes closed that day.

Your final breath took you away.

You are forever in a place far away.

You get to bring a smile to someones face today.

You get to be in a far better place.

Thank you. I wrote it a few months after she passed. I feel like writing was a way to let my feelings out, and it helped a lot with the pain of losing her.
