Yearning Embrace

Yearning Embrace

A Poem by phoenix on the rise
"

everyday longing

"

A simple embrace,

a familiar feeling of warmth and love.

Simple conversations,

the same as the previous day's.

Nothing is different,

and nothing has changed.

But something is off.

The words don't come out the same,

the clutches don't feel as warm,

and my heart is racing.

What is wrong with me?

These thoughts race around my head,

and lustful ambitions plague my mind.

One quick hug,

one quick kiss,

One short moment alone.

That is all i desire.

All that i need.

But at what price?

Who would I give up to love her?

Silly girl.

Foolish girl.

Who would I hurt to love her?

Who?

Oh, this had a little sensual side to it. ^^ That's so cool! Teens around our age would definitely relate to this. Longing and denial. ;)

Awesome job! It struck my mind with an intense tone of teenage angst and lust! :D

Eternally Yours.
