GRATITUDE

it's a poem about being grateful for what you've got, and to take a step back and really see that you have many things to be grateful for, life truly has a lot to offer.

GRATITUDE:

 

I want to show my gratitude

For everything I’ve got,

Cause as I sit and ponder,

 I really have a lot

 

I have amazing children

And all my family too,

I have the best in friendships

tried things I thought I wouldn't do, 

 

I have three girls that rock my world

In a truly priceless way,

 I love them oh so deeply

Every minute of every day,

 

The excitement on their faces

when it’s them I’ve come to see,

there is nothing that I can compare

too, nanny I love you 

 

Gratitude’s a small word

The more I become aware,

Of Everything I have

And what life has got to share,

 

I've had a turn at tough times

Wondered where do I belong,

And yes at times I truly felt

That life had done me wrong,

 

But if I hadn't gone through

 things I thought were wrong,

I wouldn't be this person

 I wouldn't be this strong,

 

Not everything I've gone through

Is all good memories

But every aspect of my life

Is what has made me…… Me

 

So I am ever grateful

For the good, and bad too

And if you sit and think on yours

I think you will be to.
