take me away

take me away

A Poem by phjasmine
"

did you ever wish you could be a kid forever?

"

Take me away
To the land faraway
Were there’s pirates in plenty
And fairies that play
Were there’s mermaids are pretty
And the Indians brave

Teach me to fly
To fly in the sky
To the stars shimmering bright
To the second star to the right
Then straight on till morning
It’s a wonderful sight

Tell me the story
Of a boy and a girl
The one of a girl called Wendy
Who stole this boy’s heart
How she loved him dearly
But then had to leave

Never let me wake
Not till its over
For tomorrow I’ll be 15 and child no longer
Let me stay here, in Neverland
Were to die would be a awfully big adventure
For I believe in you, Peter Pan

This is great!

For a fourteen year old, this is amazing - very imaginative and there seems to be a sense of hope.
Peter Pan is one of my all time favorites, so I must tell you I really enjoyed reading this.
