A Poem by Phil Roberts

Let me be easy
to let me rest my head and close my eyes.
Let me be at peace
with the world and even myself.
Let my weary soul rest.
May the demons sleep tonight.

Good description of the wishes one of us has at least one time in his or her life, where you just want to rest and feel somekind of a peacefull harmony between your soul and the rest of the world. One could argue that you are writing about death or the wish to die, but I'll stay with my interpretation.
Very nice poem,
Greetings
