ON SILENT NIGHTS

ON SILENT NIGHTS

A Poem by Phil Roberts

On cloudless moonlit nights
When the world is silver and darkest blue
And silence seems to reign supreme
If you stretch your hearing inwards
You will hear the distant moans
Of long lost lonely dreams
Homeless and obsolete
Fading away
To become endless shadows

There is a kind of mental picture this very good poem creats here. Probably the end of day when hope become lost. Or when all the fortune being gathered for years is lost in a twinkle of an eye. There is lost of hope. Well crafted.
