The joy of music

what can i say? i'm a sucker for music.

 

Singing in the shower

Dancing for hours.

The bond between music and me

Simply has no relationship boundaries.

It continues to give and I continue to take.

bopping my head to every beat It makes,

So infectious so addictive.

This is my drug, no rehab needed.

even when I sleep

it serenades my dreams

producing vocals so clean

Melodies as smooth as silk sheets.

It has been there for me,

Just as I began to lose it.

so for that I will celebrate,

The undeniable joy of music.

Phonetics might be smoother with structured verse formalities. Content is terrific. I found myself rereading the silken melodies of your poem twice. I don't often do that.
