Outworld

Outworld

A Poem by nigrum homonculus
"

based on outworld from the mortal kombat universe. i really didn't know what else i could add to this. seemed pretty much done. plus i ran out of ideas. go figure : /

"

Purple sky, littered with meteors.

Racing to the surface, in balls of fiery fury.

Assaulting the defenceless ground.

No mercy.

The craters they made

House the pools of acid.

Burning with the evil,

From the polluted clouds.

The air itself is thick,

With the misfortune of the inhabitants.

Living in constant danger

Of this worlds overwhelming anger.

But deep inside this place,

Is something more sinister.

The trees themselves grow tired,

And become a living forest.

Yellow eyes on the dark purple trunks,

The ripped bark resembles a mouth.

Moving, speaking ancient tongue.

The voice resembling thunderous cracking branches.

I refuse to believe this is about mortal kombat! It sounds like it has a much deeper, sinister meaning. Right up my street
