under his maskA Poem by nigrum homonculusi came across this scene in arkham city where bruce wayne comes across the old crime scene of his parents deaths. he silently pays his respects, it was a very powerful piece of well crafted gaming.
among the thugs, the drugs and arkham city
the dark knight pays respect silently. kneeling down in the dead of night under dimly lit back street light. flowers and a card is all he had along with the nightmare of losing his dad along with the fact that he lost his mum. an 8 year old orphaned by a thug. within this moment, he was a child. scared to death at the dangers ahead. no longer was he the cape crusader but a child in costume biting off more than he can chew. "shake it off bruce, they need you" "mum an dad are still here with you" "with every punch, kick and thought" "remember everything they taught" and with those words he rose to his feet. grapple gun in hand, ascended silently. he knew in a city that was destroyed and torn the dark knight had no time to mourn.
