idk wtf this is about, my mind just exploded with ideas and i was just possessed. i'll look back and regret this later

Don’t cry, don’t cry

No more no more.

The earth will shake and the waters will rise.

A city flooded by gods own tears.

the skies will roar as the divines collapse

descending into chaos with fingers pointing.

 

mother nature will lie there

 

Eyes wide open….watching.

 

Trapped in suspended animation caused by their destruction.

Poisoned by the greed of human idiocy.

Recover she will, forgotten they will be.

So don’t cry, don’t cry

No more no more.

No longer will they hear her screams,

As their last breath will be her first.

Born again through the death of the deaf.

Interesting write here, I must say. And poetry shouldn't always have to tell a story, I feel. As long as it gets out and produces what you need to, then no story is necessary. That's just my opinion, but everyone has their own idea of what poetry is. But anyways, back to my review, I'm getting side-tracked! It's crazy of how powerful Mother Nature is, isn't it? She will surely be the one to whip us into shape one day and teach us not to mess with her.

looool you read this? i came close to deleting it. yeah it is actually terrifying how easy it is for mother nature to completely wipe us out. we are at her mercy, not the other way round. thanks for these reviews, i really appreciate your thoughts on my work

Yes, I actually read this. Shocking? Even if it didnt seem to make sense, people can still interpret it in many different ways. That's personally what I love about poetry as a whole, someone can write something and it can be seen from many different ways, have different possibilities of an outcome. People read things from many different angles, there's no right or wrong way to read a poem or a book, or any piece of writing for that matter. Writing is writing, whether it comes from the heart or not. But somewhere, there is a piece of ourselves that we put in everything we write.

Interesting interpretation of a new era following the destruction of humankind and how mother nature weeps but will rise again as time goes on. One day nature is just going to shrug us off anyways and we will fall, and make way for nature to thrive again. Well expressed.
